It is great to see the rivalry has always remained on the cricket pitch and both these players have immense respect for each other off the field.
But today will be the last chapter of what we can call the battle between the legends. So if you are a Shane Warne fan then you must stick to your television sets because this might be the very last time you see him spinning a web.
Let’s, have a look at both the teams:
Mumbai Indians
They entered the tournament as favourites and have dominated most of the time. But last few matches have been a disaster for them as they have lost matches against Punjab and Deccan. Suddenly the batting has started looking rather the big issue as nobody looks inform. Sachin started off pretty well but seems to have lost the flavour after a few matches. The middle order looks fragile and the like of Rohit Sharma and Andrew Symonds look out of sought. But they have the talent and can certainly bounce back.
On the bowling front Malinga leads from the front as he has been the best bowler of the tournament. They certainly have a good bowling attack in Harbhajan Singh and Munaf Patel along with ‘Slinga Malinga’. They will be hoping for some magic from the bowling line up so that the batsmen don’t have much work to do.
Rajasthan Royals
It’s the farewell match for Shane Warne hence he will be hoping to finish his second coming with a win. They certainly have a good mix of players who can turn the table on any side. The only problem with them is the current form which has been dreadful.
Players like Ross Taylor and Shane Watson live up to their name. It has been a dreadful season for Rajasthan and they would love to salvage some pride in the last match. On the bowling front Shane Warne will look to bowl the spell of his life.
It will be interesting to see how Shane Warne bowls to Sachin and how Rajasthan play Malinga. Tune into the match at 8 ‘o’ clock in the evening.
