Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif were to get messy with tomatoes for a song in tomato Zoya Akhtar Zindagi Na Milega Dobara. In fact, the result was so hot that the filmmaker’s had to redo the whole song, before its release on national television.
The song picturized in Spain to represents the Tomatina festival. The song was to portray the love angle between Katrina and Hrithik. But after the ‘first cut’ was shown to the stars, even they couldn’t handle the heat.
“The original plan was to begin the song with the boys and then move on to Hrithik and Katrina. But when both of them saw it, they felt that it could be misconstrued. So they requested the director to tone down the sizzle.”
“Everyone was worried as it was to be released this Sunday on TV. However, finally it was managed. The song has now been changed. They have added portions of all the four (Hrithik, Katrina, Farhan and Abhay) actors together.
The song is about the four friends just like the theme of the film. Yes, the Tomatino song has been changed. It’s because cinema is a collaborate effort,” said Ritesh Sidhwani.
