Journey of Randy Jackson: The Journey of American Idol Randy Jackson.
Randy Jackson is standing by his show American Idol, after the new judges on NBC's similar singing competition. The voice has deemed American Idol "expires."
Maroon 5's Adam Levine also suggested that the worst talent on The Voice is comparable to the best of American Idol.
Jackson recently told The Hollywood Reporter, “It’s a great thing when talent can be simple, honest and revered as opposed to spinning around with gimmicky chairs.” He then went on to suggest a similar provision for former American Idol judge Simon Cowell's X Factor. "Maybe Simon Cowell should have people open doors. Like," knock, who sings? I cannot see the point of Jackson / Team "American Idol"!
The competition does not scare Jackson, who is convinced that American Idol has opened the door to the entire singing contest on the air or in the works. “Look, none of these other shows could exist without somebody forging the path before them. I’m happy to say that ‘Idol’ that that and paved the way,” "he said.
Let's wait and see if The Voice has the longevity of American Idol.
